Three years at Leigh/Wigan Catering College, 7+ years as a chef (Manchester, London & Europe), Hospitality Business Degree (Leeds) and finally Hospitality & Catering Agency Recruitment (Manchester). Totally passionate and dedicated to identifying new exciting talent and assisting in career progression. Adrian has built excellent business relationships with prolific leaders within the Industry, providing loyal, professional and honest recruitment practice.

Rob Walmsley

Operations & Recruitment
Manager

Rob is a true foodie and his industry knowledge shines through his business and career developments, qualifications and professional achievements. Rob started his career in hospitality at the age of 15 cleaning pots and preparing side orders in a local pub. He then went to Hopwood Hall Catering college and gained Catering NVQ level 3. Rob’s last chef position was as a Sous
Chef leading a team of six, cooking fresh local produce before he joined Catermatch Solutions in 2006. Rob achieved NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Recruitment & IOR Certificate in Recruitment
Practice in 2015.

Ross Hood

Ross has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. His first position was working part-time at the age of 16 for an outside catering company in South Africa before he attended Lancaster & Morecambe College and gained an NVQ Level 3 in Kitchen & Business management. After working for many hospitality businesses, including Northcote Manor and De Vere Mottram Hall, Ross joined Catermatch Solutions in 2013 and is now an integral part of the temporary recruitment team.

Roshan Kumar

Roshan has been in hospitality for over 20 years, graduating in Hotel Management and Economics from Oxford Brookes University. Having started his career at the Midland Hotel Manchester as part of the graduate program, he has enjoyed roles as Food & Beverage Controller, through to Regional Support Manager and Conference and Events Manager for Hilton Gatwick Airport, De Vere Mottram Hall, Marriott Hotels, Travel Inn and The Lowry Hotel. Roshan enjoys acting in his spare time and holds the belief that ‘every front of house position is a stage, and every shift a performance’!

Sasha Illona Larkin

Sasha gained a Btec National Diploma in Hotel Catering & Institutional Operations, at Nelson & Colne Catering College. After gaining valuable experience at several hotels, including
Macdonald Hotels, Sasha left to become General Manager of a family run hotel where her team gained a Bib Gourmand. Before joining Catermatch Solutions she retrained and became an NVQ
assessor and has even completed two back to back tours of duty in Afghanistan providing hospitality and welfare facilities for the troops in challenging, hostile and resource-less
environments.

Jake Peers

Consultant

Our resident Welshman, Jake started his career in the kitchen working in his local pub before making the switch to front of house. After studying at University in London, he continued his progression in Hotels and Restaurants in North Wales and became Restaurant Manager at Edgar House in Chester – voted ‘Best small hotel in the world 2016’ – where he continued to develop his love for everything food and hospitality. Jake moved to Manchester to join Catermatch in early 2018. He continues to be passionate about the hospitality world and is responsible for permanent Chef recruitment.

John Squires

John completed a Hospitality Business Degree with Adrian in Leeds before returning to London where he worked for over 15 years in marketing and HR. Keeping a daily lookout for “all things hospitality” John is keen to share and promote what’s happening with our clients, whilst also ensuring Catermatch Solutions remains a reliable source of up to date industry news.

Alison Bray

Bookkeeper &
Accountant

Heading up the Accounts team at Catermatch Solutions, Alison deals with Payroll, PAYE, Invoices, cash flow and accounts – she seriously knows her numbers! She is bubbly and outgoing and enjoys the best of family life with her husband and son; including travelling, music festivals and camping.

Costel Nicolae

IT Engineer and
Web Developer

After finishing his degree in Graphic Design at the University of Hertfordshire, Leo started work as a web designer and has developed websites for clients across the world. With his specialist knowledge, creative flair and a keen eye for detail, he was the perfect fit for Catermatch. He joined the team in 2014 and has been responsible for our ever-evolving online presence.
