Sous Chef, £23,000, very limited evening work multi food unit, Buxton.
A competent and talented Sous Chef is required for this multi unit operation base din Buxton. As Sous Chef you will work on all areas of the business from relaxed grababd go food to afternoon teas and large banquests. You will work closely with the Head Chef and site Manager, ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen on a daily basis. Part of a large company offering excellent benefits, you will help with ordering and stocktaking. Excellent opportunity to work with fresh food with great hours of work!
As Sou Chef you will help take control of various kitchens, menus, stock control, costings, H&S and general kitchen duties. Passion, motivation and inspiration are essential to communicate the way forward and help push the reputation forward. Communication with management is essential, but you are given freedom to use passion, flair and ability.
The successful candidate will have the ability to prepare foods to a high standard, good man management skills, hardworking and will have good communication skills. You will have responsibility for ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen is prepared and cooked to a high quality and that food hygiene standards are adhered to at all times. A proven track record, strong development, career driven with fresh ideas will express drive, success and passion for the position.
Excellent hours of work with very limited evening shifts, Holiday entitlement, Meals on duty plus company incentives are included with this position.
