Café/Restaurant Supervisor
Experienced, bubbly character that has Restaurant/cafe supervisor experience within a busy food and beverage outlet and would thrive in a café restaurant environment. The cafe restaurant serves an array of fresh meals and snacks form early morning until early evening. A very busy and popular destination for tourists and locals alike. This venue also caters for conferences/functions and evening service.
As Supervisor you are expected to be well presented, friendly and you will run shifts and be part of a team of between 8-14 staff when on duty therefore strong leadership and organisational skills are essential. Hours are 5 out of 7 days, with opening hours 8am – 8pm and some late functions. 40+ hours a week. You will have the support of the managers and other supervisors while on duty.

Restaurant Manager required for a new Gelato & Italian Restaurant concept, based in Manchester but also managing pop up operations in several other locations. Salary of £26,000 to £30,000!
Our client is a highly established company that is moving into the hospitality sector and has the support and assistance of a WORLD RENOWNED 2 MICHELIN CHEF to grow their new and exciting restaurant concept.
THE ROLE
You will liaise with the highly experienced and creative Head Chef in managing the restaurant concept which will be focused on great Italian cuisine, with a particular focus on amazing new gelato combinations and flavours. Answering directly to the owners, you will be fully responsible for the recruitment and training of your front of house team to get them ready for the ‘big launch’ of this unique and exciting concept. Establishing customer relationships and promoting the image of the operation are key, as well as being ‘hands on’ in organising and implementing the restaurant pop ups in various locations.
THE PERSON
This is a role that will grow and develop as the concept expands and therefore would suit a restaurant professional with ambition and drive. Without question you will need to be an exemplary communicator with your clientele and your team, but you must also have a passion and knowledge of Italian food and desserts within a high calibre restaurant operation. You will be expected to be an excellent organiser and planner with a strong emphasis on time management. You will be experienced in the recruitment process as you will have responsibility for hiring your team and subsequently training them.
